Rite Aid plans to close its 15th store in York County in recent years.
The store at 115 Leader Heights Road, York Township, is closing.
On Friday, Rite Aid announced in a bankruptcy filing that the store is on its latest closure list.

previously announced as the pharmacy chain navigates its second bankruptcy filing
The 118 store closures on Rite Aid’s most recent list are in addition to the 829 stores that the company previously announced it would close.
Last month, Rite Aid filed for bankruptcy for a second time to pursue
“a strategic and value-maximizing sale process
for substantially all of its assets.”
Most of Rite Aid’s more than 1,200 stores are expected to close.
Rite Aid announced that it had
entered into agreements
for its pharmacy assets of more than 1,000 stores across the country.
CVS Pharmacy said
that it has agreed to acquire the prescription files of 625 Rite Aid pharmacies across 15 states in areas that CVS serves, as well as acquire and operate 64 Rite Aid stores in Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
Giant Eagle has agreed to buy the prescription files of dozens of Rite Aid pharmacies in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
Weis Markets has agreed to buy the prescription files of 11 Rite Aid pharmacies in Pennsylvania and New York.
Walgreens has agreed to purchase prescription files in nine states.
Albertsons and Kroger have also agreed to buy prescription files.
Those agreements were approved in U.S. Bankruptcy Court,
according to Reuters.
