A fire broke out at their home in Catasauqua, Lehigh County, Tuesday morning, injuring two children and an adult, according to a fire official.

Crews arrived at the two-story house in the 200 block of Poplar Street at approximately 5:30 a.m., Borough Fire Chief Rich Hertzog Jr. told lehighvalleylive.com.

According to the fire chief, crews were fighting fires that had started in a bedroom on the upper floor. To get more personnel, the fire went to two alarms.

To receive treatment for smoke inhalation, the adult and children were brought to a hospital. Since then, they have been freed, Hertzog stated on Wednesday.

No other injuries were reported.
