Authorities said that an unintentional fire that broke out in a two-story residence Thursday morning claimed the lives of two inhabitants of Hamilton, New Jersey.
Police and firefighters rushed to the residential structure in the 200 block of Lynwood Avenue at approximately 6:07 a.m. on Thursday, according to officials.
According to officials, a kid who had been pulled out of the second-story window by her neighbor informed cops that her sister and grandmother were still inside the house when they arrived.
The two were discovered by firefighters in different second-floor rooms. After receiving care, they were transported to Hamilton’s Capital Health, where, according to officials, they passed away the next day from their wounds.
After being transported to Capital Health, the survivor was also released.

A woman claimed that her mother and her daughter, who was approaching her sixth birthday, perished in the fire in a Facebook post and a GoFundMe page.
Four firefighters were slightly hurt while putting out the fire, but they were all discharged from the hospital, according to officials.
According to officials, the fire was unintentional and appears to have begun in a first-floor room.
