After attending her son’s football practice at a nearby park with her spouse and their two other kids, Rebecca went to a Big 5 Sporting Goods store on Yucaipa Boulevard to get her son a mouthguard, according to KTLA. She placed Emmanuel down in her car to change his diaper because he needed it.
I don’t remember anything because, as Rebecca told the publication while displaying a black eye, someone said, “Hello,” as I was about to receive the diaper. Emmanuel was not there when I woke up on this floor. She said that her son was taken from the car by someone.
Before dialing 911, Rebecca reportedly looked around her car and raced into the store to find him, according to KTLA.
According to KTLA, no descriptions of the suspect or car were given, thus no Amber Alert was issued.
The publication was informed by Emmanuel’s father, Jake Haro, that the family has no enemies and cannot imagine anyone who would wish to harm their child.
According to SBCSD’s X post, as of Saturday, Aug. 16, police have not located Emmanuel and are still looking for him.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sheriff’s Dispatch at 909-387-3717, according to the authorities.
