Steelers expected to miss out on All-Pro trade target

During his appearance on ESPN Radio’s Unsportsmanlike Tuesday morning, ESPN insider Adam Schefter gave an update on the Steelers’ possible trade for Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

Ramsey is probably going to be dealt before NFL training camps begin, Schefter said. But he’s not going to end up in Pittsburgh.

Rumor had it that the three-time first-team All-Pro cornerback might end up with the Steelers.

Pittsburgh, I believe, checked in. Pittsburgh isn’t my first choice for a destination, Schefter remarked. To be honest, I don’t think Pittsburgh would be the most likely location.

Although it appears doubtful that the Steelers will acquire Jalen Ramsey, Schefter did offer a few possible destinations. It just so happens that both teams are in Los Angeles.

Two clubs that make sense when attempting to find a home for Jalen Ramsey, either the Chargers or the Rams, would both be in Los Angeles, according to Schefter. We’ll see how it turns out. I am aware that the Rams have been mentioned, and they are still in the news. Both parties would need to benefit financially from it. The Chargers would still be a possibility, in my opinion, but it is still a chance.

In my opinion, LA as a whole is feasible. We’ll see how it turns out, but yes, I do believe that by the time training camp starts, we’ll see some action.

After playing for the Jaguars and Rams, Jalen Ramsey recently finished his second season with the Dolphins.

In addition to his three first-team All-Pro selections, the former Florida State standout has made the Pro Bowl seven times. While Ramsey was with the Rams, he also won a Super Bowl.

Tyreek Hill, the great receiver for the Dolphins, is doing everything in his power to retain Ramsey in Miami, even though Schefter anticipates that Ramsey will be traded within the next month.

Hill stated that he intends to meet with Ramsey this week while speaking at Fanatics Fest over the weekend.

Tyreek Hill remarked, “Oh, man, I’m going to hang out with Ramsey next week.” I’m going to use full-court pressure to bring him back. Ramsey will once again be wearing a Dolphins jersey. What people say doesn’t matter to me.

Before becoming NFL stars, Hill and Ramsey both joined the league prior to the 2016 season.

Since Hill has been selected to the first team All-Pro five times, they both have numerous first-team choices. Both of them have won Super Bowls.

Ramsey is essential to us. “He’s a dog,” remarked Hill. He is a fantastic leader and one of the league’s top corners. However, a fantastic teammate as well. Man, that’s what he doesn’t get much credit for. Additionally, he and I are both in Year 10. Man, all we need is him on the Dolphins.
