The winners of the 2025 Restaurant Awards, which recognize the top wine restaurants worldwide, have been announced by “Wine Spectator”.
3,811 dining establishments from all 50 U.S. states and more than 80 foreign countries are honored in this year’s awards program.
Established in 1981, the awards are the first program in the world dedicated solely to restaurant wine service. Three levels are used to assign them: the Grand Award (97), the Best of Award of Excellence (1,704), and the Award of Excellence (2,010 winners this year).
According to the magazine’s press release, Wine Spectator has presented three new Grand Awards this year: Le Bon Georges in Paris, Soby’s in Greenville, South Carolina, and Selby’s in Atherton, California.
Each winner and the artistry behind the wine collections that won them the award are featured in exclusive profiles in the awards issue. According to the announcement, readers should be able to access it by July 15.
The 2025 list features 65 Pennsylvania restaurants, 27 of which have been named Best of Award of Excellence, the lowest honor below the Grand Awards. The Award of Excellence was handed to the remaining 38.
You can find the names and details of all the winners here, as well as a link to information explaining the wine levels and other details on each award-winner’s page.
