A Jeff Bezos dummy was seen floating in a Venice canal on Tuesday.
An old Amazon box served as the raft for the life-size mannequin of the billionaire and founder of Amazon. He had counterfeit money in his fists.
Local activist organizations allegedly disposed of the Bezos effigy in the canal, according to the Associated Press.

According to reports, the community is concerned about Bezos’ impending marriage because they believe it will emphasize the widening economic disparity and ignore the city’s citizens. In reference to Bezos’ space tourism business, Blue Origin, protesters have taken up the slogan “No Space for Bezos.”
Furthermore, a flag was hung over St. Mark’s Square, the location of the wedding, on Monday. With a picture of Bezos laughing, it said: You can pay more tax if you can hire Venice for your wedding.

Luigi Brugnaro, the mayor of Venice, told AP this month that he is quite delighted that Bezos and his soon-to-be wife chose the Italian city, despite the fact that numerous parties are attempting to make them feel uncomfortable.
It’s a privilege that they picked Venice, but I’m not sure if I’ll have time or if he will to meet and shake hands. He went on to say that Venice once again shows itself to be a world stage.
The actor George Clooney married Amal Alamuddin in Venice in 2014. The site reported that hundreds of people gathered at City Hall to wish them luck and that the public’s response was good.
The guest list for Bezos’ wedding is full of celebrities. Among those who have already traveled to Venice for the wedding are Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Tom Brady, Usher, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Kim Kardashian, Khlo Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Scooter Braun, Diane von Furstenberg, Barry Diller, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
