Rosie O’Donnell launched a
blistering
critique of President Donald Trump over the weekend in a pair of TikTok videos, lashing out at what she called a growing crackdown on dissent and linking him to the upcoming cancellation of Stephen Colbert’s late-night show.
In her emotionally charged remarks, O’Donnell accused Trump of wanting to “arrest every artist that disagrees with him,” and made a series of unsubstantiated claims about his health, calling him “physically ill” and alleging he is suffering from dementia.
“Americans need to
stand
up and say, ‘No way. You don’t have the right to silence us,’” she said. “ICE is his own personal Gestapo — what will it take, America? He’s going to come for every artist who speaks out, and most already disagree with him.”
O’Donnell also claimed, without evidence, that Trump played a role in CBS’s decision to cancel
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert
, describing the host as “one of the most brilliant, loving, and courageous minds in comedy.” She alleged the network “gave in to blackmail that Donald Trump forced on them.”
CBS announced Thursday that
Colbert’s show would end
in 2026, attributing the move to financial considerations unrelated to the ongoing Paramount-Skydance merger. The network also recently resolved a legal dispute with Trump concerning the editing of a
60 Minutes
interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump responded to the cancellation on
Truth Social
, celebrating Colbert’s departure and taking aim at other late-night hosts. “I absolutely love that Colbert got fired. His talent was even less than his ratings. I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next. Greg Gutfeld is better than all of them combined—including the moron on NBC,” he wrote.
O’Donnell and Trump’s long-running feud reignited last week after Trump suggested on Truth Social that he was considering revoking O’Donnell’s U.S. citizenship, calling her a “Threat to Humanity” and suggesting she remain in Ireland, where she relocated following Trump’s return to the White House.
“Because Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,” Trump wrote. “She is a Threat to Humanity.”
In her TikTok videos, O’Donnell
condemned
the Trump administration as “horrific” and claimed critics of the president risked their careers. “This madman is spiraling out of control,” she said. “His dementia is out of control. He’s horrible.”
O’Donnell, who previously described experiencing deep depression and overdrinking after Trump’s 2016 election win, said she moved to Ireland for her own mental health and safety following his second term victory.
The White House declined to
comment
on O’Donnell’s latest remarks, referring Fox News Digital to Trump’s Truth Social posts on the matter.
