On Sunday, the world’s best drivers travel to California to compete in the IndyCar Series Grand Prix of Monterey. FOX and on-demand streaming will provide TV coverage of the race, which is set to begin at 3 p.m. ET (noon PT).

For the second time in 2025, series leader Alex Palou starts on the pole in the Grand Prix of Monterey, the first of four races left in the IndyCar season. With his fastest qualifying time of 117.891 mph, he was followed by Will Power (115.087 mph), Pato O Ward (117.398 mph), Colton Herta (116.965 mph), and Josef Newgarden (115.643 mph). After winning his second race of the season last week in Toronto, O Ward helped cement his place as Palou’s second-best.
