Country music star fumbles fans’ gender reveal onstage: ‘I messed that up’

And yeah, Top made it unforgettable.

During Top’s recent performance at the West Virginia State Fair, the Longbons made their move. According to Country Now, they succeeded in getting Top to focus on their special occasion after they gave him the paper announcing their child’s gender.

Top started to unfold the paper, but he did so such that the gender-facing portion faced the audience. There are some people shouting at him from the audience to draw his attention to the fact that a girl was displaying.

Top exclaimed, “I messed that up,” as he swiftly turned the paper over.

He said, “If you didn’t see it, it’s a girl,” after bouncing back with a broad smile.

It all worked out in the end since the Longdons still have a moment they will never forget and fans found it funny. According to Country Now, Top signed the gender reveal and then went back to the microphone to apologize again, stating that he had somewhat messed up.

According to Country Now, the pair got married in October, and their first dance was to the song “There’s the Sun” by Top.

Kelsey told Country Now, “When we recently learned the gender of our first baby, I thought Zach Top would be the best person to announce it. How many people can say the artist of their first dance song announced the gender of their first born?” Adorable.

In addition to the significant announcement, Kelsey informed the site that Top asked the couple to take a picture backstage.
