Lewis Center, Ohio Two women have died and two men have been critically injured in a terrible three-vehicle collision on U.S. Route 23 close to Lewis Center, Delaware County.
The fatalities, Carol Waldman, 64, and Amanda Reidling, 54, were recognized by the authorities. At the scene of the flaming collision, both women were declared dead.
After suffering severe injuries in the incident, two guys were taken to a local hospital to receive medical attention. They have not yet been released from their conditions.
After hearing about the collision, which involved several cars and seriously disrupted traffic on the busy route, emergency personnel raced to the scene. Before authorities could start looking into what caused the collision, firefighters attempted to secure the area and limit the fires.
Police in Delaware County are looking into the incident and are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution and to abide by traffic control measures and detours when approaching accident scenes.
