Cumberland Valley’s Groh, State College’s Huggins highlight Mid-Penn boys All-American swimmers

A few boys from the Mid-Penn Conference were listed on the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association’s 2024–25 High School All-American lists.

Sam Huggins of the University of North Carolina (UNC) finished his varsity career as a PIAA Class 3A champion, two-time PennLive Swimmer of the Year, and an All-American in the 200 and 500 freestyles. After winning state silver in his final high school race, Bode Groh (UMass) of Cumberland Valley also received two All-American selections for the 100 breaststroke. He will compete in the 200 free relay alongside fellow Eagles Mitchell Hearn, David Socks II, and Wyatt Boland.
