Donald Trump relative sounds alarm on president’s decline: ‘He looks terrible’

Mary Trump’s distaste for her uncle, Donald Trump, has been widely known, and the president has also expressed his opinions on his niece.

Mary Trump has a history of criticizing the president, but in a recent interview, she focused on what she perceives to be Donald Trump’s cognitive decline rather than policy.

When he questioned her if she had noticed a change in the president’s cognitive ability over the past year during an interview on The Dean Obeidallah Show, she went into it.

Mary Trump said, “Oh yeah.” You can just see it, after all. He looks awful. That’s merely an observation; I don’t mean it as an attack. He seemed worn out. He appears swollen. He appears unkempt a lot, and since I’m not a neuropsychologist nor a neurologist, I can’t comment on the particular traits that might or might not be associated with an Alzheimer’s or dementia diagnosis.

However, she added, “I believe the symptoms of Donald Trump’s father’s very severe case of Alzheimer’s started becoming obvious when he was in his late 70s.” Can you guess Donald’s current age? It didn’t take long for my grandfather, who is 79 years old, to get sick; as is usually the case, it begins slowly and then accelerates rather rapidly. Thus, there was a sharp drop after five to ten years, and he lost the ability to recall people he had known for a lifetime. That sort of thing, and I see that Donald has been exhibiting a growing lack of self-control for some time.

She wasn’t finished.

She claimed that he does not appear to be oriented to people, places, time, or place very often. And we don’t want that in someone who has access to both our nuclear arsenal and the lives of hundreds of millions of Americans.

Trump went on, “And this is not news, but it’s worse.” For example, he doesn’t know anything at all, and he’s gotten worse at hiding that. He’s the president of the United States of America, which is unfortunate, and it’s so clear today that he doesn’t know anything. This is related to impulse control. Sayings like “They don’t know what the (expletive) they’re talking about” are not appropriate. You simply don’t. You must know what is proper and what is not, and he is not in any way, shape, or form. Again, I am unable to comment on the diagnosis because that is outside of my expertise; nonetheless, as a perceptive human being, and particularly in light of my grandfather’s experiences, I can remark that Donald Trump does occasionally resemble my grandfather.
