Guy Fieri has a social media habit of exposing his feelings with his fans, and this week he revealed yet another devastating loss that has his fans praying for him.
On Saturday, the Food Network took to Instagram to announce the passing of a close friend and colleague chef.
RIP to my friend, Fieri, who was a fantastic chef and a culinary inspiration to the wine area. He posted a photo of himself and Ash together on his Instagram stories.
Ash founded John Ash & Co. at the age of 83. His heart ailment caused his death on Thursday.
The most recent setback for Fieri was Ash’s passing.
Parade wrote about the passing of fellow Food Network star Anne Burrell in June and said he was severely impacted. Later, it was determined that she committed suicide.
As he recalled his father, Jim, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 81, he also uploaded a message in June that received appreciation from followers.
He added, “I have so much to be thankful for in this life,” and included a picture of his dad. My friends, family, health, adventures, everything. But my dad (and my mom) are the reason I have these possibilities and advantages.
He went on, “I miss him more than I can explain.” Without him, there is a great hole in my life. I would like to give him a call every day to ask him questions, get his assistance in solving issues, or exchange amusing tales about my life and career. I aim to be that father to my sons and instill in them the respect and values necessary to become a great father in the future.
