Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut, will host qualifying and a historic first-ever race for NASCAR’s Craftsman Truck Series at the Liuna 150. FOX and on-demand streaming will provide TV coverage of the race, which is set to begin at 1 p.m. ET.

At Lime Rock Park, drivers will complete 100 laps over a distance of 147.8 miles. Qualifying will start at 9:30 a.m. ET (on FS1), and the race will start at 1 p.m. ET (on FOX). According to NASCAR, the trucks will be the first national racing circuit to compete on the road course. The Truck Series regular season consists of four events, the first of which is the Liuna 150.

The theme is new as drivers quickly adjust to a tight course with a woodland backdrop. Phil Gould, crew chief of Niece Motorsports No. 45 for Kaden Honeycutt, told NASCAR’s official website, “It’s very different from most of the road courses we run, mainly the fact that there’s only really one left-hand corner.”
For the majority of them, it’s essentially a trade-off between right and left, where you can give up a lot by going to the left in order to obtain everything else on the racetrack. Thus, it is unquestionably unique. I am excited, even though it is short for a road course. The challenge is enjoyable.
