Washington (AP) Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on social media Thursday that a man who was charged with a felony for throwing a sandwich at a federal law enforcement agent in the nation’s capital has been sacked from his position at the Justice Department.
Late on Sunday, a video showing Sean Charles Dunn scolding a group of federal officials went popular on the internet. According to a court complaint, Dunn tossed a sub-style sandwich at a Customs and Border Protection official, leading to his detention on an assault allegation.
According to a department official who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss a personnel matter, Dunn, 37, of Washington, was an international relations expert in the criminal division of the Justice Department.
