The release of Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant whom Democrats have called a Maryland Man, from federal jail was denounced by Secretary Kristi Noem of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Noem denounced what she called activist liberal judges trying to stop law enforcement from expelling the most dangerous illegal aliens in a DHS statement. She said the decision demonstrates a total disdain for the safety of the American people and directly targeted the judge who granted Abrego Garcia’s release.
According to Noem, activist leftist judges have made every effort to thwart our law enforcement’s efforts to expel the most heinous criminal illegal aliens from our nation. We hit a new low today when this publicity-hungry Maryland judge ordered the release of this illegal alien, a child predator, human trafficker, MS-13 gang member, and serial domestic abuser.
“This judge has demonstrated a complete disregard for the safety of the American people by allowing this monster to roam the streets of America,” Noem continued. Until this Salvadoran man is brought to justice and removed from our nation, we will not give up.
According to NBC News, Abrego Garcia was released after U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes ordered his release from a Tennessee jail where he had been detained since being released from El Salvadorian prison.
Abrego Garcia will be released with a set of requirements, including reporting to the Baltimore field office of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Abrego had been detained at a jail outside of Nashville after being released from El Salvador’s CECOT prison in June, but U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes in the Middle District of Tennessee ordered his release.
According to one of his lawyers, Sean Hecker, Abrego is apparently on his way to Maryland to be with his family.
Hecker said in a statement that the government’s retaliatory strike on a man who dared to oppose the Administration’s ongoing onslaught on the rule of law resulted in his illegal detention, deportation, and imprisonment.

Despite the abrupt conclusion of the gang fights that he said in 2019 would put his life in risk, Abrego Garcia was released amid allegations that he was wrongfully deported home to El Salvador, according to Breitbart News.
Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and other Democrats have supported Abrego Garcia and allegedly visited El Salvador to meet him following his deportation by the Trump administration, which accused him of being a people smuggler and part of the MS-13 gang.

Additionally, according to Breitbart News, Abrego Garcia was accused of being a member of the MS-13 gang and of repeatedly abusing his wife.
According to DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, Abrego Garcia was apprehended while wearing what is essentially MS-13’s uniform, alongside two other suspected MS-13 members, and with rolls of cash and drugs.
