Legendary rock star gives update after being shot 3 times: ‘They’re going bye bye’

Jake E. Lee is preparing to perform at Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s farewell show, but it’s probably a surprise he’s here at all.

And the reason for it is that he was recuperating in October after being shot three times while out early in the morning in Las Vegas as he was walking his dog. On Saturday, Lee finally provided an update on the events that transpired.

In reference to the last Black Sabbath performance, he posted on Facebook, “Just confirming I’m playing in Birmingham on the 5th of July.” His dog, Coco, must get up at seven in the morning to watch Pops because I think I’ll be the first at bat! I’m excited to perform with some of the best musicians in the world, but I won’t reveal their names until the curtain lifts. I’ll confirm after our practice the following week.

At that point, he received the shooting update.

He wrote, “Oh, by the way, the two who shot me have been apprehended and will be sentenced next month.” My case is essentially an afterthought because the gun was connected to two prior killings. For a long time, they are saying goodbye. On that joyful note, I’ll see you on TV!

Late last year, Lee took to social media to give fans his version of events.

He wrote, “Thank you again for all your concern.” A little update: recovering at home. I want to express my gratitude to everyone at Sunrise Hospital for their excellent treatment of me. And a few quick facts concerning that evening. Coco and I ran into a pair of robbers on our way home from our stroll. They wore black clothing with masks over their lips and hoodies pulled down over their faces. examining a neighbor’s motorcycle while standing in his driveway.

He stated that after a verbal altercation, it was decided that I would walk one way and they would walk the other. That did not succeed. I can only comfortably accomplish a bit at a time right now, but I’ll probably go into more depth about it later. Let me find another adorable photo of Coco!

In an earlier Facebook post, Lee stated that 15 shell casings were discovered at the scene by the police.

Thus, he claimed, he unloaded the clip on me. I was only able to evade so many bullets before one went through my foot, one through my forearm, and one in my back, damaging a lung and breaking a rib.

In the 1980s, Lee played guitar for Osbourne.
