Authorities say a 41-year-old man from Lehigh County passed on Thursday due to injuries he sustained in an all-terrain vehicle accident earlier this month.

According to a news release issued by Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio on Friday, Joshua T. Clark was trying to help a disabled driver when the collision happened on Old Route 22 in Weisenberg Township at approximately 8:25 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11.

According to the coroner’s office, Clark was attempting to contact the driver when the ATV he was operating skidded off the road and repeatedly turned over.

Clark lost control while attempting to catch his falling hat while traveling east on Old Route 22 on a 2019 Polaris Sportsman, according to Pennsylvania State Police at Fogelsville.

According to a news release from the authorities, Clark was not wearing any safety gear.

According to the announcement, Clark was declared deceased at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Salisbury Township shortly before midnight on Thursday.

It was determined to be an accident and that blunt force head injuries were the cause of death.
