Pa. couple charged after police find dead puppy, sick dogs in their home

A couple from Monroe County is being charged with several counts of animal cruelty after detectives raided their home and discovered terrible living circumstances, according to the police chief.

Two residents in Tobyhanna’s 9000 block of Idlewild Drive, Christopher Singh, 34, and Diajanira Singh, 31, are accused of felony aggravated animal abuse, misdemeanor animal cruelty, and misdemeanor animal neglect.

Christopher Wagner, the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Chief, told lehighvalleylive.com The Singhs have not yet been arrested on the charges as of Monday afternoon. According to the chief, charges may vary once law enforcement receives test results.
