Pa. prison is among federal facilities that will hold ICE detainees

LEWISBURG The Bureau of Prisons (BOP) has announced that inmates of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will be held at the Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary.

As part of an inter-agency agreement with ICE, eight federal correctional facilities nationwide will house prisoners, including Lewisburg, a medium-security facility located roughly 60 miles north of Harrisburg, according to BOP spokesperson Scott Taylor on Friday.
