Marquez Callaway, a former wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has joined the Las Vegas Raiders, the team announced.
Prior to going out for the Raiders earlier this week and signing a contract with them, Callaway was cut by the 49ers last week.
Callaway did not finish the Buccaneers’ offseason program, although he was a member of their practice squad from mid-October to the end of 2024. On April 29, he was set free.
In 2020, Callaway was a University of Tennessee undrafted free agent. He has played for the Saints, Steelers, Denver Broncos, and Raiders in the past year. His greatest season was in 2021, when he caught 46 catches for 698 yards and six touchdowns, giving him a career total of 1069 receiving yards.
Callaway participated in training camp and practice squad activities with the Steelers, but he never appeared in a game. In 2024, he rejoined the Saints in the hopes of making the roster after being cut in the middle of training camp. He was only with them for ten days before being let go.
