R&B singer Tamar Braxton told her fans about a terrifying medical emergency she encountered on social media on Tuesday.
She stated on her Instagram stories, “It was difficult to write, but everyone keeps calling, and honestly, I can’t even really talk anymore.” I’m so frail. On Sunday, I nearly passed away. My friend had a facial injury and I was discovered in a pool of my own blood. It gets worse as the days pass.
The 48-year-old singer claimed to have lost some teeth and sustained a broken nose. She claimed to have movement problems as well.
“My perspective on life has completely changed,” she wrote.
Braxton added that she is unsure of the reason of her injuries.
“My mental journey begins as my health is improving,” she stated. Really, pray for me. I have no idea what has happened to me.
In 2021, Braxton was also sent to the hospital after being discovered unresponsive.
She then stated that it is my sole duty to be honest with myself and those who genuinely care about my recovery in this very time. I have always shared my best moments with you, and I am confident that sharing my worst moments with you will help any man or woman who is experiencing the same sense of defeat that I had just a week ago.
Braxton was one of The Braxtons’ original members. After releasing her debut solo album in 2000, she made a comeback in 2013 with Love and War, which peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.
From 2011 until 2020, she also starred on Braxton Family Values, a reality television program.
