According to a recent analysis, more than 25% of Pennsylvania’s local roads and almost 15% of its local bridges are in bad condition, endangering both the state’s economy and motorist safety.
Falling gas-tax revenue and uncertain future funding are major concerns, according to a report released by TRIP, a coalition of industrial, insurance, construction, and labor groups that regularly reports on the condition of the country’s roads.
