Rescuers pull person from Susquehanna River in Harrisburg: fire chief

Late Monday afternoon, someone was pulled from Harrisburg’s Susquehanna River.

Dauphin County dispatch reported that about 5:30 p.m., Harrisburg police responded to a report of a person in the river.

About ten minutes later, Harrisburg Fire Chief Brian Enterline told PennLive, firefighters brought the person to land using a water rescue boat.

After that, he stated, the individual was brought to a hospital.

We don’t know the person’s condition or gender.
