In the Epstein papers, Donald Trump’s name is mentioned several times. Even Pam Bondi, the Attorney General, has disclosed this information. This is bad news for the president, regardless of whether it indicates that Trump was a frequent passenger on the Epstein jet or that he actively participated in Epstein’s infamous island operations.
Not to mention that the Trump campaign focused on uncovering a conspiracy theory alleging that Epstein was smuggling young women to affluent elites. At every event, he agitated his supporters by suggesting that the Democrats were pedophiles taking part in Epstein’s revelry.
The MAGA base is now requesting the items. To demonstrate that Q-Anon was correct, they seek complete disclosure of the Epstein files. They continue to think that the Clintons and some strange pizza parlor front are involved in child abuse.
Donald Trump doesn’t want you to see the information now that he has access to it all. Why?
The possibility that he was at the heart of the sleaze ring is brutally obvious. Thus, the deception starts. He is desperately searching for a way to change the files before they are even seen, rather than ordering his Department of Justice to pursue the evidence wherever it may go. In an attempt to uncover some scrap of exonerating evidence that might justify his 20 years of jet setting with a convicted child sex abuser, he is deposing the only convicted ringleader who is still alive.
There’s more. The White House has been spouting a mountain of garbage over the past few weeks, obviously trying to divert our attention from the Epstein incident. Trump voiced his complaints about former President Obama and even implied that his predecessor ought to face treason charges. His hatred campaign against political rivals intensified. He fabricated crimes by them and demanded that people like U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-NY), U.S. Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), and U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) be prosecuted right away.
Trump claimed to be restoring law and order when he invaded the District of Columbia. This is despite a 36% decrease in crime over the previous few years. He arrogantly proposed that the Kennedy Center be renamed in his honor after seizing control of the country’s Hall of Culture. Millions of Americans who depend on government health care and other services are at peril as he continues his assault on federal employees.
Abhorrent mass deportations by Trump and his evil cronies have increased. With a daily quota of 3,000 aliens who must be apprehended and sent to Alligator Alcatraz and other hellholes, who is to handle the Epstein files?
The purpose of all of this is to divert our attention from the dangers contained within those Epstein files.
What became of sound governance and true leadership?
The viewpoint of young Democratic activist U.S. Representative David Hogg (D-IN) is as follows:
“Being a Democrat is more difficult than being a Republican. Why?Because tearing down government is always easier than making it function.
He claimed that Republicans are aware of that. They actually rely on it. People lose faith in them after they’ve spent decades undermining our institutions, and then they turn around and say, “See?” The government is ineffective. Donald Trump makes no effort at all.
Republicans who want to return to bipartisan government are still in large numbers. As Trump ramps up his dictatorial agenda, many of them share the same disgust as Democrats.
The current regime’s anarchy, corruption, and brutality can be avoided. Release the Epstein files first. For the thousands of victims who were entangled in Epstein’s web to receive justice, we require the unadulterated truth.
Secondly, we need members of Congress to fulfill their duties. They all took an oath to defend the Constitution from both internal and external adversaries. It is time for elected officials to take action when the president is obstructing information because it could harm him and his supporters and is willfully breaking the Constitution for his own political and personal benefit.
Ultimately, it is our collective duty as Americans to vote the rascals out. People who don’t oppose an autocrat end up working with him. When we need lions to hold offices, we cannot let lambs do so.
