Where to see fireworks for July 4

Fireworks will be a part of the celebration of Independence Day soon.

Many firework displays, with different dates and timings, as well as other events and attractions, are scheduled in the central Pennsylvania townships and boroughs.

While some activities take place after concerts or during festivals and fairs, others are organized especially around the fireworks displays.

Check out the possibilities for Independence Day on the list below:

Adams County

A Fourth of Gettysburg

Where: Gettysburg, 545 Long Lane

When: July 4, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Live music from the Six Whiskey Revival, as well as more than 20 food trucks and drink merchants. Parking is $5 for this event. 9:15 p.m. is when the fireworks will start.

Carroll Valley Borough’s Fourth of July festivities

Where: Carrol Commons, Carrol Valley, 5685 Fairfield Road

When: At 5 p.m., the park opens.

Complimentary bus shuttle service will be offered all evening long, and overflow parking is accessible at the Liberty Mountain parking lots. At 6:30 p.m., the band Reagan Years will play.

There will be fireworks at 9:45 p.m.

Cumberland County

Over Carlisle, stars burst.

Where: 1000 Bryn Mawr Road, Carlisle, Carlisle Fairgrounds

When: July 3, 6 p.m.

Admission is free, and food and beverages are available at concession stations. Around 9:30 p.m., fireworks commence, and music with a DJ starts at 7 p.m.

Lions Club Community Fair in Newville

Where: Newville, 433 Shippensburg Road

When: July 10–12, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Events include a food stand, a tractor pull, bingo, and the kiddie land attraction. At 10 p.m., fireworks were lit. 11 July

Fireworks Display in Shippensburg

Where: Shippensburg Memorial Park, Veterans Stadium

When: 5 p.m. July 4. At 8 p.m., gates open.

The Shippensburg Town Band will perform at 8 p.m., followed by Rita’s Italian Ice setup inside the stadium. Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. and the national anthem at 9:15 p.m.

Dauphin County

Food Truck Festival

Where: Harrisburg, 200 S. Front St.

When: July 4, noon to seven o’clock

A wine and beer garden, rolling skating, live animals, live music, over 40 food trucks, and other attractions. There will be fireworks after the Harrisburg Senators baseball game, which starts at 7 p.m. at the stadium on City Island.

Parking is free within the city, $5 on City Island, and $10 at the Market Square Garage between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m.

On the Veranda, jazz

Where: Hershey, 100 Hotel Road

When: 7–10 p.m.

At 10:15 p.m., Hotel Hershey guests can enjoy the fireworks (see below). Tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis; reservations are not accepted.

Hershey Fireworks

Where: 100 Hersheypark Drive, Hersheypark

When: July 4, 10:15 p.m.

At 10 p.m., Hersheypark’s rides close, but visitors can still enjoy the park and parking lot to see the fireworks.

Visitors can purchase tickets for Fireworks From The Shore, which allows them to view the fireworks from Hersheypark’s Boardwalk.

Food trucks and fireworks

Where: Lingelstown, 6030 Larue St.

When: 5:30–9:30 p.m. 3 July

food trucks such as Mad Dash, The Messy Pig BBQ, and The Potato Coop. 9:30 p.m. is when the fireworks will start.

Fireworks Celebration on July 4th

Where: Millersburg’s Riverfront Park

When: July 3, 5 p.m.

Live music and food vendors. Date of rain: July 11.


Lancaster County

2025 Fourth of July Festivities and Fireworks Extravaganza

Where: Stone Gable Estate, Elizabethtown, 1160 N. Market St.

When: July 4, 3–9 p.m.

The cost of admission is $30 per car, $45 for big cars with nine to fifteen passengers, and $20 after 7:30 p.m. Tours, food and craft vendors, a petting zoo, and other attractions are all part of the event. The fireworks show starts at 9 p.m.

Lititz Fourth of July Festivities

Where: Lititz, Lititz Springs Park

From 11 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. Fourth of July

9:30 p.m. pyrotechnics, food trucks, a kids’ area, a baby parade, and live music. Date of rain: July 5. Pre-sale tickets are discounted from $20 at the gate, $8 for children aged 3 to 10, and free for children ages 2 and under.

Fireworks and the West Chester Community Band

Where: Community Park in New Holland

When: July 3, 7 p.m.

The concert will be followed by fireworks. Date of rain: July 6.

Fireworks in Marietta

Where:Community Bible Church and War Memorial Park, Marietta

When: July 4, 4 p.m.

Family gatherings and food trucks. At 9:15 p.m., fireworks appear.

2025 Fireworks & SECAFest

Where: Quarryville, 229 Park Avenue

When: July 8, 4–10 p.m.

Food vendors, carnival games and live music. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m.


Lebanon County

Lebanon July 4 Fireworks

Where:Coleman Memorial Park

When:8 p.m. July 4

Fireworks begin at approximately 9 p.m. Date of rain: July 5.


Perry County

New Bloomfield Fireman s Carnival

Where:300 W. High St., New Bloomfield

When:July 1-5

Carnival with food, games, rides and other entertainment. Fireworks held on July 4 at 10:30 p.m.


York County

Wrightsvilleand Columbia 4th of July

Where:Riverfront Park, S. Front and Maple streets, Wrightsville

When: July 4, 4 p.m.

Live entertainment, vendors and family activities with fireworks in the evening.

Dover s Red White and Boom

Where:Eagle View Park, Dover

When:

Concert with Spring Garden Band, games, food trucks and other activities. Parking at Dover Middle and Dover High School, and Station 6 Union Fire and Hose Department. Fireworks at dusk.

East Prospect
